WtPB 52 - Lost Season 3 Episodes 13-15

This week Jon is back to talk about Lost with Dylan and Derek. Sarah wasn't with us for this episode and won't be on the next 2 Lost episodes, but she will be joining us to talk about the season 3 finale, Through the Looking Glass. This episode and post are going to be full of spoilers, but the show has been over for almost 10 years, so we felt like a spoiler warning was unnecessary.

Our first episode this recording is The Man from Tallahassee, where we finally find out how Locke ended up paralyzed. While on the Island we see Kate and crew arrive at The Barracks and the ensuing shitshow of a rescue attempt as they're captured almost immediately.

From there we move on to Expose. An episode that was hated upon initial release, revolving around recently introduced characters Nikki and Paulo and how they ended up on the Island and what they've been up to since the crash of Flight 815. Similar to The Other 48 Days from season 2, in that most of the episode doesn't revolve around current on Island events. The part of the story that does take place in the present isn't your typical Lost episode either. It's almost a detective mystery as Hurley investigates the apparent deaths of Nikki and Paulo.

And finally, we talked about Left Behind. A Kate centric episode. Probably my(Dylan) favorite Kate episode, as the central theme isn't "Kate runs." The on Island story focuses on Kate and Juliet, who wake up in the jungle handcuffed together. The flashbacks feature Kate returning to her home town to confront her mother about why she turned Kate in for killing Wayne. On her way she meets Cassidy(Sawyer's baby mama) who ends up facilitating a meeting between Kate and her mother.

So let's get into it, shall we?

We're also available on iTunes and Stitcher.
