This week Dylan and Sarah welcome our friend Chris, who was with us for our Evil Dead episode, back to the podcast. This time to talk about The Room(Not to be confused with Room). Unfortunately Derek was unable to join us. But it was an interesting conversation nonetheless.
The Room. What can I say about it? The movie is utterly baffling to me. The story centers around Johnny. A successful banker whose fiance(a word never used in the movie) Lisa, starts having an affair with Johnny's best friend, Mark.
Objectively speaking, the movie fails on almost every level. But there's something fascinating about it that holds your attention, or at least it did mine. I honestly don't know how to describe the viewing experience except to say that this is the definition of "so bad it's good." So let's just get into it, shall we?
