This week we change things up a little and Derek(@larzm) essentially interviews Sarah(@SarahScullbag) and myself(@King_of_Bob) about our experience at Fan Expo Canada 2015.
Overall we had an great time. Met quite a few people who we have been fans of for years. They were all incredibly friendly and we had some pretty good, if somewhat brief, conversations with several people including Jeffrey Combs(@jeffreycombs) who suggested we not try to get to the south building on Saturday, since it took him 45 minutes to get there the day before.
From there we sat in line waiting for Gillian Andersons(@GillianA) arrival, since meeting her was Sarah's whole reason for wanting to go in the first place. It was a long wait, but it made Sarahs life to meet Gillian, having been a big fan since the age of 10.
We then met Phil Lamarr(@phillamarr) and Jess Harnell(@JessHarnell). Two really cool and super friendly guys. I've been a fan of Phil since his MadTV days and then started seeing and hearing him everywhere. Jess I've been a fan of, without really knowing it, since he voiced Wacko on Animaniacs way back in 1993(back before I know who any voice actors were). Jess made my weekend by not only making us Warner Family, but also calling us bitches as Scary Terry. A character from a show Sarah and I have recently fallen in love with, Rick and Morty.
From there we met Amy Acker(@AmyAcker), who was very friendly considering how long a day it must have been for her. Then it was off to Sarahs photo op with Jason Mamoa(@PrideofGypsies) which was the end of our first day.
Day two was also pretty great. Met with Tara Strong(@tarastrong), Tom Kenny(@RealTomKenny) and Jeremy Shada(@JeremyShada). Tara I've been a fan of since she was in a movie called National Lampoons Senior Trip. Tom Kenny was on a show not many people know about called Mr. Show with Bob and David. Which is a shame because in my opinion it's one of the greatest sketch comedy series of all time. And Jeremy Shada is the star of a little show some of you may have heard of, Adventure Time.
All in all it was a great time. Sit back and listen to us expand upon how much fun it was in this weeks episode of Welcome to Planet Bob.
