This week our conversation centers around three comedy films that involve the end of the world. We started with a UK comedy that is sadly not available on region 1 DVD, so our listeners outside of the UK may have trouble finding it, but it's well worth it when you see Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel. Which features Chris O'Dowd, Anna Faris and time travel(obviously). The end of the world isn't really the focus of this story, but they do visit a future where it seems society has crumbled.
About half way through discussing FAQ we jumped into This is the End, which centers around a group of celebrities hanging out at James Franco's house when the biblical apocalypse kicks off, which is apparently the least acceptable answer for most of the people in the house.
We then jump back into FAQ for a bit before moving on to our third movie: Tank Girl. A movie that Sarah and I love, but apparently is not liked by the film makers or the creators of the comic. It's a fun movie that explores some dark territory but never gets too heavy.
We're kind of all over the place in this episode, but we had a good time. We only hope it's as funny to you as it was for us.
