This weeks episode is dedicated to my(Dylan) uncle, Kevin, who passed away earlier in the week. It felt like an oddly appropriate episode considering Kevin(Or Captain K as he was affectionately known) spent more time in an office and\or working at home than any other person I've ever known. You will be missed Kev.
This week we talked about The Internship and Office Space. We felt like The Internship contains levels which some people may have overlooked. There is a surprising amount of cleverness packed into the movie that one may not notice upon first viewing.
Office Space is a hilarious movie about the tedium of the working world, which doesn't just apply to office environments. Anyone who has been a member of the working world for more than a few years can likely relate, at least in spirit, to a lot of what goes on in the film.
This episode also marks Derek's tenth episode with the show, which we totally forgot to mention during the recording of this weeks episode. Oops.
This weeks episode was actually initially inspired by one of the actors from The Internship following me(Dylan) on Twitter. Bruno Amato(@liberal_actor), who plays Sal, owner of Sal's pizza from towards the end of the film. Which I mention briefly during this weeks show.
